Aksinya gagal, namun dia cacat. Setelah insiden itu, keluargaku berubah untuk selamanya, dan film ini adalah usahaku untuk mempelajari dan memahami dia, diriku, dan keluargaku. Dalam konteks yang lebih luas, aku secara analogis menggambarkan bagaimana keluarga kelas menengah Thailand terpengaruh krisis ekonomi pada tahun 1997 (Krisis Tom Yam Kung) dan mempelajari gambaran keluarga dalam budaya Thailand melalui proses pembuatan film ini.  Media Thailand selalu menampilkan keluarga Thailand dengan satu dimensi: yang baik dan yang buruk. Untuk memahami masyarakat, kita perlu fokus pada lembaga terkecil dari itu: keluarga. Apakah keluarga Thailand itu? Apa kerumitan-kerumitannya? Apa cara-cara yang ditempuh setiap anggota keluarga untuk berhubungan dengan dunia luar dan dalam? Bagaimana keluarga tersebut melalui perubahan radikal baik dari masyarakat Thai, takdir, dan bergelut di sekitar kenyataan dan fantasi dari gambaran sebuah keluarga.

Mother is a hybrid of fiction and documentary. It is a portrait of the complicated, fragile, painful and realistic relationship between my mother and me. In the past, she once tried to commit suicide. Though the action was failed, she was disabled. Since the incident, my family has changed forever, and the film is my attempt to explore and understand her, myself and my family. To put it in a wider context, I analogically portrayed how Thai middle class family effect- ed by Asian financial crisis in 1997(Tom Yam Kung Crisis) and explored the representation of family in Thai culture through the process of making this film. Thai media always shows Thai family with one dimension : the good and the bad. To understand the society, we need to go to the smallest institution of it : family. What is Thai family? What is its complexities? What are the ways each member deal with the world outside and inside? How does the family go through the radical change both from Thai society and the destiny and they dances around the reality and the fantasy of the familial representation.

The members. As of Efek Rumah Kaca have become some kind of employees; when performing schedule, which was fun at first, have become routines. At some points, they need recreational agenda to overcome this phase. They show us the process of recruiting new members to re-forge their own songs. These stories that narrated by the personnel of Pandai Besi is a creation of a collective projects. They live-recorded nine songs for the album "Daur,Baur" and to accomodate these recreational agenda, they added lighting effects to the magical atmosphere of the legendary Lokananta Recording Studio.

This portrait of seven-year-old stand-up comedian Fatih Unru from Indonesia shows the difference between big and small: however grown-up the boy may act onstage, he's still a little kid with a lot to learn. His act is all about chocolate, the sweet that every child longs for. But a cruel twist of fate means this is the one thing sweet-toothed Fatih is allergic to. So he does what every good comedian does: he turns his misfortune into material. Fatih is interviewed at home, in the intimacy of his room, and filmed in his daily life, at school and during his act. Not only do we get to know this well-spoken young man, but we also get a peek into the world of his adult stand-up counterparts in contemporary Jakarta.

At the end of 2011, puppeteers from Germany, France, Thailand, Myanmar and Cambodia came together at Chiang Mai venue ‘Empty Space’ in northern Thailand for a workshop led by German director Manuel Lutgenhorst. The groups were asked to create a new collaborative piece to be performed in Chiang Mai, Phnom Penh and Yangon, exploring the topic of ‘home’. Filmed by a Burmese-Cambodian crew, Puppets Beyond Borders follows these Asian and European troupes as they prepare their pieces and encounter each other’s rich and diverse puppetry traditions – from shadow play to glove puppets and marionettes – and takes a look at the players’ innovative approaches to reinterpreting their art for today’s audiences.
