Scottish Documentary Institute (SDI) merupakan sebuah pusat penelitian dokumenter di Edinburgh College of Art yang sangat concern terhadap keragaman pendekatan dokumenter. Mereka sangat tertarik pada cerita yang menantang dan sangat terbuka terhadap berbagai macam pendekatan kreatif dalam dokumenter seperti experimental ataupun animasi.
